After the Separation Wars, terrible monsters rose from the depths, fostering efforts to unify the humanoid races under one banner. Nox is a human living in a sanctioned city, but with a sudden rise in murders by demons, tensions are running high. While on a trip to the corner store, he gets ambushed by a strange demon, which awakens something long dormant within him. Nox might not be so human after all…but from a race long thought extinct.
