New River Valley, 2101. Eight years ago, the world was ravaged by a severe series of extreme cold weather, turning the earth into a barren, frozen wasteland. NRV is loosely governed by an army known as the New River Valley Protection Force-- but a new force has entered the valley, called the United States Reestablishment Army, who seek to subjugate the area, and those who dwell within it are caught in the crossfire.
