Last year I was trying to write a romantic script and thought downloading a dating app could be useful research. Of course, this was all a guise to hide my true feelings of loneliness.
What I found there was profile after profile of people my age who seemed to have no interests outside of going for a walk or a hike at the weekend and then grabbing a roast lunch at a pub. Not really my thing.
