Socks stretched over a cast provide little in the way of heat.
A foot in a cast wasn't going to stop me. In hindsight, I probably should have let it.
We were filming for our second year project at the time and I took on the loose role of production manager. Responsible for the props, I opted to ditch one of my crutches and drag a large suitcase of props through the snow and slush. Stupid, really.
