In the year 3076, society functions as a meticulously monitored utopia, every citizen regularly “debriefs” with their personally assigned AI companion “Orpheus” about their daily life. Eryn follows this protocol without much thought, exchanging messages with his AI, who provides guidance, product promotions, and commentary on his life. Eryn eventually notices cracks in the system. He starts questioning society, the system, and soon Orpheus itself.
