Zero, a Gallade falls into a spiritual Pokémon realm known as The Abyss with his sister Nana, who disappears moments after Zero steps away from the pit. While looking for help deep in the bottom layer, he meets a Ceruledge named Sol, who makes a deal with him so both of them can escape The Abyss, using Zero as a shield from the Undead in exchange for his sister's whereabouts.
