A machine that makes it possible to live dreams for a limited amount of time and record them is a blessing for Keith Madden, an escapist who hates reality. But right after his seventeenth birthday, he starts having the same dream over and over; walking in the kingdom of the dead, the Yomi, Keith finds a woman with an ethereal aura. Her words are precise: "Izanagi is in your world. Reach him for me." Nagi was the name of his best friend, who died seven years before.
