Phil Spidermen is the most spectacularly ordinary hero ever to grace the funny pages. Born from a missing hyphen in “Spider-Man,” Phil has all the powers but none of the gumption. Instead of saving the city, he balances spreadsheets, fixes copier jams, and rescues coffee mugs. A satire of superhero tropes, this comic asks: if most of us got great power, wouldn’t we just keep living our normal, mundane lives?
