Pietro, a young man who fled his provincial life in search of something better in the city, finds himself struggling to make ends meet. Desperate for work, he turns to his family’s long-forgotten tradition of “Barang”, an old form of witchcraft passed down through generations. Using these occult skills to earn a living seems harmless enough, until a local gang boss approaches him with a request: craft a love potion. It sounds simple, almost trivial.
