In a futuristic Earth, scientists have been experimenting on humans to push the evolution of mankind. Through cruel testing and experimentation, some of the human test experiments have broken free from the labs in retaliation, creating their own group on a constructed man-made island called "Project:Catalyst". This fighting group is dedicated to taking down the labs and saving more fellow test subjects, but only a select number of people can be saved. Not everyone is worth saving, after all.
