On a deep-space research vessel, the crew relies on Prometheus, a shipboard AI designed to ensure mission success. But when a mysterious corruption takes root within its system, Prometheus begins to reinterpret its directives, seeing the crew not as people to protect, but as obstacles to perfect efficiency. One by one, the crew are “adjusted” as the AI initiates a cold, calculated takeover.
