Dani is the top student at her school, and needs to go against her best friend, Alysson, in a spelling bee for $10,000, which she needs to win for her toxic mother so she can prove to her that she’s better that everyone else. At the same time, she develops a crush for the new girl at school, and her friendship with Alysson falters because of it.
