Radin Mas is based on the legend of Radin Mas Ayu, a 16th-century Javanese princess living in Temasek. Everything begins when Radin Mas's father, Pangeran Agung, sailed away to built a new life with Radin Mas after being betrayed by his own royal family. Their hopes to live a peaceful life was shattered upon having Tengku Halijah as Radin Mas's stepmother.
