After a brutal street fight leaves him badly hurt, a young illegal boxer seeks refuge in a late-night store that's open till 3 am. The store owner, Min-Soo, tends to his wounds but doesn't hesitate to scold him for his reckless lifestyle. The fighter, Julius, is initially resentful but as Min-Soo's kindness and concern slowly chip away at his tough exterior, he begins to soften. Over time, Julius's rough edges start to wear off, revealing a more vulnerable side, much like a hard-boiled egg transforming into a soft-boiled one.
