Skylar Shepherd discovers she has powers after being bitten by a wolf on the same day James Wilson finds out his father, a genetic scientist, was murdered. Skylar becomes Red Wolf and uses her powers to fight the crime in the city, while James becomes Barred Owl to track down the criminal responsible for the murder. The two masked heroes soon discover their paths will lead them both down the same road.
