In New York, around the 1930s, a sudden popular magic show was ran by two strange individuals. A magician and his apprentice to say the least. The two were brought together by unknown forces and they both decided to stick together to achieve their dreams of becoming famous stars doing magic together and entertaining many. (And maybe developing some affectionate feelings towards each other) They of course make friends along the way and get into deep trouble, encountering the odds against them.
