Roberta Jenkins, an earnest martial arts student, travels to Hinode to study martial arts with the legendary master Jōku-sama. During her apprenticeship with Jōku-sama, Roberta struggles to learn a great many things. But there is one lesson she struggles with more than the rest, and that is getting out of her own mind.
