The year is 2039 and the US is stumbling blindly through steadily-unfolding environmental and political catastrophes. San Digitalia is set in an eponymous southern California town abandoned by AutoComplete, the world’s largest and most powerful technology corporation. The comic takes a satirical and critical look at issues of White Supremacy and Commercial Surveillance when they are amplified by the near future’s technologies of AR, VR, machine learning, and ubiquitous computing.
