I spent weeks researching Jeep Wranglers, engines, and cold weather to be able to accurately portray the "car breaks down in dark forest" trope. The serpentine belt snapped causing the car to overheat quickly. The fact that I needed to know that doesn't make me better than you, it just proves that I am obsessive and or compulsive ;) - (frazzled) Nicole
