TOPI talked to my mom about transgender athletes once. She was confused and didn't want to be rude, she just thought that transgender women would have an advantage over cisgender women. I showed her the differences and she quickly realized she was wrong, and I thought that was the end of it. The next day, though, I overheard her talking to my dad about it, and she was on my side!!! She did some more research and showed him the science behind it, and I've never been more proud to have her as my mom!
