The Letter (pt 1)

TOPI remember as a child realizing I had a tree growing in my house but thinking that was stupid because trees obviously don't grow in houses so I never told anyone and pretended it wasn't there. Later I was taught that having a tree in your house was sinful and/or a sickness. For 30+ years I denied the existence of the tree and it wrecked my house and the tree grew damaged and deformed.

TOPI ignored the part of me that was a boy for so long I wanted to make my mom happy I figured everyone felt horrible in their bodies all the time and that they just dealt with it better I remember watching I am jazz and think that she must hate her chest too but it was the opposite I remember my body dysphoria made me vomit every night when I was a kid my parents took me to get a bunch of tests done I thought I felt uncomfortable because someone might have abused me and I was just blocking it out
