The slums of New Angeles are unforgiving. To carve out the most pitiful of livings, Kiera Wolfe becomes a lowly thief, scorned by society. After messing with the wrong people, Kiera finally gets recognized, stepping into the role of Death, where she is promised everything she's ever wanted. As she gets initiated, the death lists skyrocket, but the final assignment is one she cannot complete.
