Sorry - I know this is heavier than what I usually make. I think I have a pretty good handle on my sensory issues, but sometimes I just need to vent. That said, if you have a friend or loved one with sensory issues, please be kind and understanding, and listen if they say that they need space. Sensory issues can be really painful and overwhelming, even if they seem irrational from the outside.
