I was actually debating whether or not I should show Lawrence crying this early on to readers, but he keeps his feelings to himself when it comes to the group he's traveling with. Hence he takes a walk out on his own. He's a bit older than both Lush and Raynari, and of course, Elle, and doesn't want to show that kind of emotion in front of them.
