Sheriff and Delight fight over Sher's infatuation with a boy from Bermuda Row. It leads to Delight breaking a gift that the boy had given Sher. Sheriff leaves to blow off some steam, missing the changes that Delight makes to their plan to set a factory fire. When it comes down to the fire, Sheriff loses their arm in the fray, while Delight loses their eye and watches as the boy rescues Sher.
