A dragon’s roar is heard throughout the city and crows flood the streets: secret societies of the modern age have gone to war. Alex, a bright young man, is caught in the crossfire and his mom is killed. With nowhere else to go, he joins the Cypress Society, where he learns that every member has a unique power, from summoning dragons to being invincible.
