Maria Jones died and got lost on her way to the afterlife so she joins forces with the reaper Dex Corazon in hopes to defeat the ruler of the In-Between, Thanatos, so that she can be revived. Things don't go so smoothly however, having to fight the embodiment of sins and various other reapers. Will they manage to defeat the god of death and return to the mortal realm or will they die (again) trying?
