Gilbert J. Haggerty, a dim-witted, working class guy, was abducted by alien poachers a few months ago. While on route, the pacher’s ship was flagged by police and refugees were escorted to a nearby planet. Now, Gil seeks to earn enough money to charter a ship back home, but can he adjust to the advanced alien technology, traditions, and cultures, or will his own incompetence and new acquaintances end up stranding him hundreds of light years from home forever?
