What would you do if you woke up dead, on a train, with your hands bound? Chances are, you might try to escape. Which is exactly what Calix does, employing the help of the train's own conductor, a withdrawn girl whose whole life has been spent aboard her own sort of prison. Together, the pair make a pact to fight through the Afterlife, facing the demons lurking in the shadows and within their own minds. They share one promise: to make it back to the Living world.
