Han Ren, 18, can conduct electricity — but his power is wired to his emotions. Calm him and he's a steady current. Startle him, and he short-circuits. For twelve years he's lived by three rules: never be surprised, never let them see, nobody can ever know. Then one rainy night, he breaks every rule — to save someone. And someone was watching.
