Tsubarata High, a private school in Japan widely known for its diverse sports, is the breeding ground for many young students driven to be pro sports people. With their motto, "Only the strong can hit the Nationals", Tsubarata High proves to be a tough challenge. When Haruki Utaka, a cocky second-year at TS tries out for the boy's basketball team, evidently failing, he does what he can to find the sport that he's really suited for, or get stepped on trying.
