Reym Paradise unwillingly carries the curse of immortality, but at the price of the precious lives surrounding him. Despite his exile for the atrocities of this curse, Reym returns to his kingdom after five years to find the family he left behind. He arrives at a very different country than the one he remembers: the land and its people divided by a territory war between reality-destroying behemoths called Disasters.
