I based Tsuru's half-crane form off of the uniform in Spirited Away. Ironically, I decided on the look of her crane form before Shotaro's wolf form, but they ended up being shown in the comic in a different order. There's gonna be an announcement next month in addition to the last chapter of "The Marriage of Crane and Wolf", so please be on the look out for that.
