Sophia had to make a decision. Suffer and die from from cancer detected too late or live as a werewolf, exiled from society. Challenging federal law, Sophia comes to the pack begging to be made one of them, but is declined by the pack alpha, Markus, who has just lost his mate. His wolf rages to be set free without her calming influence. Others in the pack act to save them both. They save her to save him.
