When soulmate marks are given out and the angel can’t find anyone with the same mark what will he do? He travels to earth and still cant find anyone, so he gives up. Meanwhile the devil gets the same mark, he can’t find any demons/devils with the same mark so he goes to earth, he also gives up, he sees the angel and approaches him.
