The Black Roses are a group of assassins who pick the wrong target to attack, Mika, the group's target, puts up a fight and doesn't go down easily the assassin who was sent to murder Mika sees that they could use someone like Mika in their group so he brings him back to the group's hideout and Mika shows off his skills they all agree that they could use someone like Mika in their group so they ask him if he wants to join, however, Mika isn't too sure about the idea but is convinced to join.
