The Coder Shuka Fête works for the Alexandria Police Department in Alexandria, Virginia. Her brother Crietche goes to the Northern Virginia Community College campus in town. When an anonymous online presence calling themself "The Coder" contacts the police station, threatening Shuka's well-constructed life in Virginia and a long-kept secret from her brother. Crietche has his own plans when he comes across the Coder.
