The Dead Sands During a routine patrol, Elysia Yates is decapitated by a madman. After being a corpse for a few minutes, she awakens to find she is alive again, thanks to Khalid Amritan- a wizard from the distant necromancer empire. All she wants is to return to her mundane life, but there's one small problem. The only thing keeping her alive is the foreign wizard, and if she is outside the range of his magic, she'll drop dead. And Khalid is on the move- he's hunting the same madman that killed Elysia.
