Maelstrom and Switchblade are Hunters of a new kind, employed by the Demon Hunter's Guild and Academy (DHGA) after an outbreak of Demons spread across the Flatlands in an experiment gone wrong. Unsuspecting and dutiful at first, events begin to occur that inevitably lead them, and their fellow Hunters, down a path of questioning the true nature behind the Outbreak, the DHGA, and the demons beneath the surface.
