The dragon is the ultimate being, a true apex predator. it can flatten forests with its wings and raze mountains with its flaming breath. Before a dragon none may stand. But one day from the dragon's breath was born a phoenix. A being that with each rebirth expanded in its collected wisdom and power. So this begs the question, will the phoenix ever surpass the dragon? And if so, at what cost?
