A visual adaptation of the 1917 short story by the same name from Horacio Quiroga. The story follows a young woman named Alicia, who was recently married to the love of her life, Jordan. After a short while their quiet life begins to take a turn for the worst when Alicia falls mysteriously ill, perplexing even the best medical authorities.
