Francesco de Lucrezi, a young man from Marsala, joins Cosa Nostra as the driver for Zu’ Giacomino. From thief he becomes a killer, then an emissary in drug trafficking with the Camorra and ’Ndrangheta. Together with his friend Giuliano, he eliminates rival bosses and survives the wars against other mafias and the State. But the violence consumes him: he betrays, escapes, kills the boss Rizzo, and in old age, tired and alone, dies leaving his coffin in front of the Carabinieri station in Corleone
