In 2044, the world outside is gone. What's left of us lives inside a single tower, where electricity is currency. You pedal a generator to earn it — and the more you earn, the higher the floor you're allowed to live on. The higher you live, the sooner you eat. Yeongjin lives in the semi-basement, ankle-deep in floodwater. He has decided he is going to move up. One floor at a time, he finds out what each one costs.
