According to legend there lived twin brothers by the name of Romulus and Remus and during the time of their birth the mother of the two boys was brutally attacked by a savage beast. The young woman with her last ounce of strength put the newborn babies in a basket and sent them floating down the river bank where it was found by an unsuspecting couple.
