The protagonist, Reem, wakes up one morning to find her body has transformed into a white plastic mannequin. When she goes outside, she discovers that the entire world has changed like her. At first, everyone thinks it's just a strange curse, but they can still talk, walk, and live normally. The problem begins when people discover the rules of this new world: they don't feel pain; they don't need food or sleep; and if a part of their body breaks, it can be reattached.
