The term "passing" is used in trans discussion to refer to the gender that other people interpret someone to be, often used in relation to the individual's gender identity (e.g. a trans man saying "I don't pass well" means he is often interpreted to be a woman). Being "clocked" is used to refer to other people figuring out that an individual is trans.
