Nancy, an orphan raised by her grandfather lives a life content with little in the 1950’s. She loves her grandfather - Earl - very much, but is conflicted, questioning her future and purpose. After Earl is paralysed in a tragic accident, he begins to pursue his hobby of inventing while Nancy navigates her uncertainties and own autonomy.
