Princess Layis is being sent to the kingdom of Hiraeth for her arranged marriage to the kingdoms prince. Layis has never met the prince and is not thrilled about spending the rest of her life with a man she has never met in a kingdom that is so unfamiliar to her. Just days before the wedding Princess Layis decides she wants to live a life she without regret so she plans an escape only to find an unexpected partner in crime with the same goal as her.
