700 years after Etu the Sky Woman falls, white lights descend from the sky. The tribes of miskināhk (miss-kin-ak) were poisoned and many died or were gifted powers which they called Orenda. Once living in peace, the Kingdom of Varavell has since arrived in Hiawassee to wrought the traditional lands for resources and enslave the people.
