Rhea has returned to her homeland following her father's death. She is convinced it was not a suicide, but to prove it, she needs to gain entry into the region's Academy of Bearers. The problem? She requires a magical animal as a familiar. Raigar, her childhood friend, is willing to help her. In the process, Rhea will discover that neither her father's death nor her mother's was a coincidence.
